Curt J. Geisler Bio:

Curt J. Geisler, Esq. was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in December of 1998 and has represented countless clients for over 26 years in the areas of criminal law, DWI/DUI charges, and traffic violations in numerous counties and municipalities throughout New Jersey, including high profile criminal cases. This experience has enabled Mr. Geisler to be an aggressive, effective advocate in and out of the courtroom. Mr. Geisler serves as a Public Defender for the city of Passaic, the Borough of Paramus, the Borough of Bogota, the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights, the Borough of Elmwood Park, the Borough of Bogota/Little Ferry, the City of Garfield, the Borough of North Haledon and Township of Mahwah. As such, he is highly familiar with motor vehicle and traffic laws, disorderly persons and petty disorderly persons offenses, and proper discovery procedures for Municipal Court practice in the State of New Jersey. In addition to his expertise in criminal law and traffic matters, Mr. Geisler practices in a variety of other fields, including personal injury, civil litigation, and family matters. Mr. Geisler has also been appointed counsel for numerous government agencies, including zoning/planning boards, parking authorities, and school districts. Paul M. Uhlik Bio:

Paul M. Uhlik proudly joined the Law Offices of Curt J. Geisler, LLC, in April 2024. Mr. Uhlik has been an attorney for over forty years. He started his legal career with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, where he prosecuted all types of crimes and tried over forty (40) jury trials. Mr. Uhlik also advised local police departments and taught at the Passaic County Police Academy. After his retirement from the Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Uhlik entered private practice and handled matters involving criminal defense and municipal court, including DWI and family court matters.

Lisa L. Pugliese Bio:

Lisa L. Pugliese, Esq. proudly joined the Law Offices of Curt J. Geisler, LLC in February 2019. Mrs. Pugliese specializes in personal injury, with the goal of providing injured clients with personal, individualized service. With a compassionate approach, Ms. Pugliese advocates for her clients in all forms of resolution and trial settings, obtaining maximum results. Ms. Pugliese represents clients in automobile accidents, trucking accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents, premises liability, work-related accidents, dog bites, and wrongful death. Mrs. Pugliese has experience in complex injury cases and has obtained multimillion-dollar settlements during her tenure at the firm. Her practice also includes municipal matters, special civil law, small claims, and real estate matters. In 1997, Mrs. Pugliese began practice in a private personal injury firm and has over 20 years of experience.
